Handychief handles the practical bathroom work: toilet and vanity installation, mirrors and hardware, caulking, drywall and paint touch-ups, shelving, and the repairs that come with them. Text photos of the bathroom, links to anything being installed, and a short description — we’ll quote it before we arrive.
Installation, repair, and finishing — the handyman side of bathroom work.
Toilets and related hardware installed or swapped like-for-like. If we uncover a damaged flange, corroded shutoff, or drain problem, that can mean additional work — or a licensed plumber, depending on the issue — and we’ll tell you before proceeding.
Assembly, placement, securing, hardware, and the finishing work that makes a vanity sit right. Plumbing relocation and countertop fabrication aren’t part of this scope.
Mirrors, towel bars, TP holders, shelves, and hooks — fastened with the method that suits the wall construction and the item’s weight.
Compatible shower doors, curtain rods, and bathroom hardware installed or replaced. Scope depends on the product, the surround material, and existing conditions.
Deteriorated caulk cut out and replaced around tubs, showers, vanities, and fixtures. Caulk refreshes a seal — it doesn’t fix an active leak or hidden water damage, and we’ll say so if that’s what we find.
Shelves, cabinets, and storage products installed where the space allows — built-in work runs through our carpentry service.
Most bathrooms don’t need to be gutted — they need three or four specific things handled. A new toilet, a vanity that isn’t peeling, a mirror hung properly, fresh caulk, a drywall patch, and paint can change how a bathroom feels without taking on the cost and disruption of a full renovation — and without living around a construction zone.
That’s the job we’re built for: update what needs attention, leave what doesn’t, and get it all done in one project instead of turning it into a remodel. Have several items on the list? A toilet swap, a mirror, new hardware, a drywall patch, and touch-up paint can usually all happen in the same visit.
Pulling an old fixture sometimes reveals what it was hiding: damaged drywall behind a mirror, a mounting surface that’s gone soft, deteriorated caulk, minor wood damage under a vanity, or a previous installation that cut corners. Handyman-level repairs like these can be handled as part of the project when they’re included in the scope — that’s the advantage of having the install and the repair handled as part of the same project.
What we won’t do is pretend everything is handyman work. Major structural damage, significant plumbing problems, mold remediation, and licensed electrical work belong to the appropriate trade — if a project uncovers one of those, we’ll tell you plainly and help you figure out the next step.

Toilet and vanity installation, mirrors and hardware, shower doors and curtain rods, caulking, minor drywall repair and painting, shelving and storage — the practical updates and repairs, not full remodels.
Yes — installation and like-for-like replacement, including the related hardware. If removing the old toilet reveals a flange, shutoff, or drain problem, we’ll tell you before proceeding; some issues call for a licensed plumber.
Yes — assembly, placement, securing, hardware, and finishing. Plumbing relocation and countertop fabrication aren’t part of the scope.
Yes — mirrors, towel bars, hooks, shelves, and the rest, fastened with the method that suits your wall construction and the item’s weight.
Yes — old caulk cut out, surfaces cleaned, and fresh caulk applied around tubs, showers, and vanities. If the deterioration points to an active leak or hidden damage, we’ll flag that first — caulk isn’t a leak repair.
Yes — patches and cracks can be repaired, prepped, and painted as part of the same project. If the damage comes from an active leak or an ongoing moisture problem, the source needs to be addressed first — otherwise the repair won’t last.
Yes — that’s the usual way. A toilet, a vanity, new hardware, caulk, and paint in one scheduled project beats four separate service calls.
