Trampolines We Assemble

Customer-supplied residential backyard trampolines, built to the specific manufacturer’s instructions.

Round Trampolines

Frame sections, legs, jumping mat, springs or the manufacturer’s tension system, safety pad, enclosure poles, and net — the classic backyard configuration, assembled in the specific maker’s sequence. Frame connections, spring layout, and net attachment differ between brands, so the manual leads.

Rectangular Trampolines

A different build than round models — frame design, spring layout, support system, and enclosure all follow the specific product. Any performance or capacity claims belong to the manufacturer’s documentation, not to us.

Spring-Based Systems

Springs are installed in the manufacturer’s specified sequence so tension is distributed appropriately during assembly. Matching manufacturer springs only — structural components never get random or non-matching substitutes.

Springless Systems

Manufacturer-designed springless trampolines are assembled per that maker’s own procedure — composite rods and their attachment points aren’t spring hardware and don’t get treated like it.

Brands: we assemble many common residential trampoline systems — customer-supplied products from brands such as Skywalker, JumpSport, Springfree, Upper Bounce, Zupapa, and others. Send the exact product link or model so we can review the assembly requirements. Handychief is an independent local service, not affiliated with or authorized by any trampoline manufacturer.

Safety Enclosure, Net & Padding

When the trampoline includes a manufacturer-designed enclosure, the poles, pole padding, net, zipper entry, upper supports, and supplied clips and straps are installed according to the product instructions — exactly, with nothing left off for convenience. Where the kit includes frame padding, it’s installed to cover the frame, springs, and hardware as the maker designed.

An enclosure is an important component on trampolines that include one, but it does not eliminate all risks associated with trampoline use. If critical padding or netting arrives missing, torn, or damaged, we’ll tell you before the trampoline goes into normal use — homemade substitutes aren’t part of the job.

Anchoring, Wind & Severe Weather

Manufacturer-approved anchoring can be reviewed as part of the project — the correct method depends on the trampoline model, anchor system, ground conditions, and the manufacturer’s instructions. Ground anchors, straps, and stakes are different systems, not interchangeable, and we don’t improvise one that contradicts the product design.

An honest Northwest Florida note: trampolines can be affected by high winds, and neither professional assembly nor anchoring makes one hurricane- or storm-proof. Owners should follow the manufacturer’s instructions for severe-weather preparation, anchoring, storage, or disassembly where applicable.

Manufacturer Instructions Come First

Components identified, hardware organized; frame sections, legs, mat, and tension system assembled in sequence; manufacturer padding, enclosure, and accessories installed; manufacturer-required anchoring completed where applicable; and hardware checked at the end. What we don’t do: drill structural holes, modify the frame, change enclosure height, remove safety components, install incompatible springs, or improvise connectors. Age, user, and weight limits belong to the manufacturer’s rating for the specific trampoline — assembly doesn’t raise them.

Installation Area & Ground

The installation location should meet the space and placement requirements provided by the trampoline manufacturer — clearances around and above, and distance from fences, trees, branches, pools, play structures, and furniture. The ground should be stable and suitably level according to the product requirements; significant unevenness can contribute to uneven frame support, instability, and anchoring complications. Grading, excavation, drainage correction, and landscaping are separate site preparation, reviewed on their own.

Accessories & Ladders

Basketball hoops, ladders, shoe bags, weather covers, anchor kits, and other model-specific accessories are installed where they’re designed for that trampoline and included in the agreed scope. An accessory the maker didn’t specify gets a compatibility check before it goes anywhere near the frame — no unsafe modifications.

Used or Previously Disassembled Trampolines

Reassembling a used trampoline is a different conversation from building a new kit. Send the brand and model if known, photos, and the condition of the mat, net, padding, and hardware. If frame components are bent, structural hardware is missing, or the net and padding are severely deteriorated, the project may need replacement parts first — or may not be appropriate to complete. That’s an honest review, not a safety certification.

Assembly vs. Trampoline Repair

This page is assembly of a new or complete customer-supplied trampoline system. Replacing worn mats, stretched springs, torn nets, and deteriorated padding on an existing trampoline is repair — minor manufacturer-compatible component swaps can be discussed separately, but repair isn’t what this page promises.

Residential Backyard Scope

This service is focused on customer-supplied residential backyard trampoline systems. Trampoline parks, commercial courts, gymnasium systems, and institutional equipment are a different category with different requirements — not what this page covers.

Larger Trampolines & Multiple Installers

Some larger or heavier systems need more than one set of hands at particular stages — it depends on the size, frame design, component weight, enclosure design, the manufacturer’s instructions, and what has to be lifted and held safely. Crew needs are determined during project review and included in the quote up front.

Delivery, Boxes & Backyard Access

Trampoline boxes are heavy and awkward. Tell us whether the trampoline has been delivered, where the boxes are, your gate width, and whether stairs or a long carry are involved — significant material movement is reviewed as part of the project scope rather than assumed.

Weather, Packaging & Cleanup

Outdoor assembly may need to be paused or rescheduled when rain, lightning, high winds, or saturated ground make the work unsafe or interfere with proper installation. Packaging can be gathered and broken down after assembly — haul-away or disposal should be confirmed as part of the project scope.

What Affects the Project Scope

Trampoline size, round vs. rectangular design, spring vs. springless system, enclosure design, accessories, anchoring, ground and site condition, backyard access, whether the trampoline is new or previously disassembled, missing or damaged parts, crew requirements, and weather scheduling all shape the project. For an accurate quote, send the product link or model, trampoline size, site photos, and delivery status.

Trampoline Assembly FAQ

  • What types of trampolines do you assemble?

Customer-supplied residential round and rectangular trampolines, including appropriate spring-based and manufacturer-designed springless systems with enclosures and accessories.

  • Does the ground need to be level?

The installation area should be stable and suitably level according to the trampoline manufacturer’s requirements. Significant slopes or uneven ground may need to be addressed before assembly.

  • Do you install the safety enclosure and net?

Yes — when the enclosure is part of the manufacturer-designed trampoline system, the supplied poles, net, padding, and attachment components are installed according to the product instructions.

  • Do you anchor trampolines?

Manufacturer-approved anchoring can be included where appropriate. The correct method depends on the trampoline model, anchor system, ground conditions, and the manufacturer’s instructions — and anchoring doesn’t make a trampoline storm-proof.

  • How long does trampoline assembly take?

Timing depends on the trampoline size, frame design, spring or tension system, enclosure, accessories, anchoring, site access, and crew requirements. Send the product link for a project-specific review.

  • Can you reassemble a used trampoline?

Possibly. Previously used trampolines should be reviewed for completeness and visible component condition before reassembly — missing or damaged structural and safety components may need replacement.

  • What happens if parts are missing or damaged?

We’ll identify the issue. Manufacturer-specific structural or safety components may need replacement before assembly can be completed properly — they don’t get improvised substitutes.

  • What should I send for a quote?

The brand and model or product link, trampoline size, site photos, ground or surface information, delivery status, enclosure and accessory details, anchoring information, backyard access details, and your city or ZIP. Text it to (850) 556-2900 for a quote before scheduling.
